The Trixie Foundation
Appalachia's Animal Protection Organization and No-Kill, Care-for-Life Animal Sanctuary, "Eden"
Every single day since the ‘rain’ has come to an end, we’ve been busy, busy, busy here at Eden! So much to get caught up on after such a wet, soggy Springtime...

Here we are cleaning out the dog houses and dog runs in addition to spraying them inside and out for potential parasites. Too, as you can see, our little girl ‘Mama Dog’ just loves to go for rides on the 4-Wheeler. Ha!

And, as the grass seems to practically grow back overnight - keeping it mowed and weed-eaten is a necessary and regularly scheduled undertaking. Believe me when I say, “The work here at The Trixie Foundation’s ‘no-kill’ animal sanctuary Eden just never ends.

If you’d like to come for a visit, we’d be ‘tickled’ to have you - as would our happy, spoiled rotten ‘Trixie Kids’...

Busy, Busy, Busy...

Pauly's Place
One Big, Happy Family...
Truthfully, some people just don’t understand. To them, a dog is just that and no more - simply four legs and fur. However, for those of us who have spent the time and made the effort to befriend and understand the ways and undemanding needs of man’s best friend - the love returned and the loyalty given us is indeed beyond measure. To say who is better off physically and emotionally because of the relationship would indeed be hard to determine, don’t you think?
A The Trixie Foundation, long ago we realized that many beautiful animals were dying needlessly for lack of a place to go or being destroyed simply because they were sick or old. True, realistically we can’t ‘save the world’ and honestlty, there is so very much that we can’t do. Still, with just a little financial support from you, we can continue doing that which we have been doing for over 20 years - giving life to those here in Appalachia that we stumble upon and rescue. Please, if you can, we’d appreciate your help...
