Appalachia's Animal Protection Organization and No-Kill, Care-for-Life Animal Sanctuary, "Eden"
nlike other "no-kills" that almost always state they are "full" - at The Trixie Foundation's animal sanctuary, Eden, we always try our best to accommodate any and all unwanted animals. However, as we all realize - that takes a substantial amount of money (realistically, thousands of dollars per dog or cat over its lifetime) - not to mention, an unwavering, long-term commitment upon our part. Thus, because our sanctuary Eden is a "no-kill", care-for-life facility only - we would like to ask for your financial assistance in this monumental, never-ending task. Your monthly "Sponsorship Program" contribution of $15 to $50 (or, even periodic donations of any amount) will enable us to provide the very best long-term care for innocent, unwanted dogs and cats available. Just as significant, it would enable us to save the lives of animals of all ages, temperament and breed that are sadly destined to die at "kill" shelters for lack of a place to go. Furthermore, for those "troublesome" or "unadoptable" animals that other rescuers or facilities refuse to accept from private individuals because of issues of aggression, age, breed, etcetera. - please be aware that for a nominal fee, The Trixie Foundation will also make room for animals of this nature via our "Placement Program".
Living, playing and socializing in large compounds in natural, "pack-oriented" groupings (supervised 24-hours daily, seven days a week), "Trixie" dogs are free to enjoy the camaraderie of lifelong friends. At Eden, life
